Tips for easy airport travel

Airports!
I remember my first experience traveling alone.  My emotions were a mixture of excitement and fright.  I was a bit nervous because I did not know what to expect and what to do when arriving at the airport.  As I am human I realize that this is natural.  Fear of the unknown is one of the most predominant forces in our lives.

The easiest way to rid yourself of the unknown is to get informed!  This article is here to help first time travelers make an easy transition from arriving at the airport to getting safely to the gate.

“There is no shame in not knowing; The shame is in not finding out”

Russian Proverb

My friends and I traveling to Nice, France!

Airports can get a little overwhelming at first glance.  There are hundreds of workers, Lines around every corner, signs, illuminated screens, announcements going off as if they were encompassed in the essence of the room.  All of this is background noise.

What we need to do is focus on our goal which is to escape the mayhem that is the airport and make your way to your destination.  The best way to do this is to to know what all these signs are saying and to be informed about the process of going through the airport. You go through all the scenarios of how you assume the trip will be, thinking of the silk textured sand massaging and warming the bottoms of your feet while you peer into the vastness of the beautiful blue ocean. The sounds in the distance play music to your ears as if they are a perfect Mozart concerto.

With all this going on you may lose focus and forget an important part of a successful trip. PLANNING!

The majority of travelers believe that planning a trip means booking your flight and hotel. Well, GREAT! Now you have a place to stay and a small portion of the transportation down but this falls short of what you need to be stress free for your travels.

I have put in great effort to discover the key ingredients to planning and living a relaxing, enjoyable vacation. There is a HUGE difference between three-four, week, and month long trips. In this article I will discuss planning for a three or four day trip which I will call a “relaxing vacation”. A trip for four days is GREAT! You can relax your mind, unwind, and enjoy the treat of a new and exciting stay for a short period of time. This time is spent without concern for anything but living and loving it all.
